Instructions
Begin by pouring the cherry juice into a small saucepan and place it over low heat. Allow the juice to come to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally. This process will take about 10-15 minutes, during which the juice should reduce by half, turning into a thick and flavorful cherry concentrate. Once reduced, remove the saucepan from the heat and set it aside to cool completely.
While the cherry juice is cooling, prepare the creamy mixture. In a separate mixing bowl, combine the milk, chocolate syrup, vanilla extract, and agave syrup. Using a whisk, blend these ingredients together until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
Take a tall glass and fill it generously with ice cubes, allowing the ice to chill the drink as you build it.
Carefully pour the rich chocolate milk mixture over the ice until the glass is filled halfway, ensuring a smooth pour.
Next, take the cooled cherry concentrate and slowly drizzle it over the chocolate milk layer. This will create a stunning swirl effect as the cherry concentrate descends into the mixture. If you prefer, you can gently stir a bit to combine, but the aesthetic look of the swirled layers is quite appealing.
For the perfect finishing touch, garnish your drink with fresh cherries on top and sprinkle a generous amount of dark chocolate shavings over the surface for extra decadence.
