Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x9 inch baking pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition, then add the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then fold into the wet ingredients until just combined.
Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
Optional: Sprinkle with chopped peanuts before serving.
