1package (8 oz)cream cheese, softened to room temperature
0.5cupranch dressing
0.5cupbuffalo sauce
1cupshredded cheddar cheese
0.5cupcrumbled blue cheese (optional)
0.25cupfresh green onions, finely chopped
1servingtortilla chips or celery sticks (for serving)
Instructions
Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C), ensuring it’s ready for baking.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and ranch dressing. Use a hand mixer or a whisk to blend these ingredients together until you achieve a smooth and creamy mixture.
Carefully add the shredded chicken and buffalo sauce into the bowl. Gently stir with a spoon or spatula until everything is well combined and coated.
Next, fold in the shredded cheddar cheese and if desired, the crumbled blue cheese, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dip mixture.
Spoon the well-mixed dip into a baking dish and spread it out evenly for even cooking.
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot, bubbling, and the top turns a lovely golden color.
Once fully baked, remove the dip from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes before serving to avoid burns.
Just before serving, sprinkle the top with the freshly chopped green onions for a vibrant finishing touch.
Notes
For an appealing visual, serve the dip in a warm, cast-iron skillet or a decorative serving bowl.
